I don't think I will ever understand these cultures that form around not doing something...
Straight edge, child free and any of the others...
I can understand not doing drugs, I dnt understand getting together and not doing drugs. Why not find friends who actually do something? Like basketball? Try out for the team. Get an Xbox, make models, knit, something productive, anything...
Normally all I ever see from these crowds is that they get together and talk about what they don't do. They gather in all these child free women gather in their child free forums and talk about other peoples children. Why? If you don't want children, why spend so much time devoted to them? Why not just get a cat and forget about other people and their families? Don't want to do drugs, fine, don't do them, just don't spend so much time talking about drugs...
Im going to start a new group.
Rapefree, we are going to get together and not rape people. We won't do anything but talgk about not raping people. We'll have out little club meetings, someone will get up and say, " So I was walking down the street, and this really hot woman walked out of the bakery. I totally didn't rape her, it was awesome."
Then i'll start child porn free, high seas piracy free, injecting hobos with the aids virus free...
The possibilities are endless.
